The Infinix Hot 2 is not only finer; it is definitely hotter than any other phone on the block right now. Within few seconds of the launch, the sleek 5” HD screenphone sold out on Jumia.com.ng, proving to be the hottest phone you should be going for right now.

On the 18th of August 2015, Infinix mobility launched its latest device, the Infinix HOT 2 in collaboration with Jumia, Google and MTN, where they introduced the latest Google android one to the African market.

Jumia, Nigeria’s largest online shop experienced a deluge of orders from the Nigerian customers minutes after the device went live on the website with over 5000 units of the Infinix Hot devices sold in a few minutes. Customers couldn’t get enough as each subsequent re-stock was sold out, every time!

Jeremy Doutte, CEO of Jumia Africa stated during the launch asserted that, “Any forward-looking organisation must have real-time, cutting-edge wits at the fulcrum of its business operations and that, is what Jumia Nigeria consistently exhibits in pushing the frontiers of its opérations to everyone in the country”.

Bruno Li, Infinix Nigeria’s Country Manager also corroborated the fact when he stated that “Nigeria market is outstanding; end-users are really tech oriented and always looking for the next tech trends in the smart phone industry. As a smartphone company, it is our duty to provide such technology”.

Jumia, in partnership with the key players of the Nigerian mobile ecosystem, Google, MTN and Infinix partnered to offer an incredible value to the Nigerian consumers: a smartphone device valued at 100,000 naira being sold at 17,500 naira, exclusively on jumia.com.ng.

The Infinix HOT 2 comes with bundles of amazing features -

1) Infinix Hot 2 launched as the 1st official Android One product with lollipop 5.1 in Africa

The Infinix Hot 2 is the pioneer device for Google’s Android One program in Africa. This means that any latest software update, application update and software fix will be handled by Google for up to a 2 years period.

2) ANDROID 5.1.1 LOLLIPOP surprise

Android 5.1.1 lollipop is the latest public Android release from Google. Its many features include material design, faster multitasking, up to 2x better performance than kitkat, and have extra battery saver option that gives you an extra 20% of battery use.

The main benefit of having a large chunk of RAM on your smartphone, such as the 2GB of RAM, is simple. It means more apps can stay open in the background, reducing the endless opening/closing cycle that can make using a slower, less capable smartphone a tedious exercise in running applications especially when playing HD games.

The HOT 2 design is trendy and cool to behold. It comes with a 5 inch HD screen and a lovely glossy body finish with glass feeling. This means that the HOT 2 is shiny and can be easily mistaken for Infinix Zero.

Starting at just N17,500 for the 16GBROM+1GB RAM version and N19,500 for the 16+2GB RAM. Infinix Hot 2 is very affordable for the specs that it boasts of. MTN offer 1GB data @N500 for 1 year. Send A1 to 131 now.
